ABPnews collaborates with three historic Baptist newspapers to gather and report news for and about Baptists in the United States:
Southwest - Baptist Standard
The Texas-based Baptist Standard has been covering news about and for Baptists since 1888. The Standard delivers news in print and digital media, primarily focusing on the Southwest, but also including information from across the United States and around the globe.
Mid-Atlantic - Religious Herald
The Herald promotes engagement and discourse on issues vital to a Baptist community of shared values in the Mid-Atlantic – the District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia – by providing reliable news stories, compelling features, thoughtful analysis, and resources for spiritual development.
Midwest - Word & Way
Word&Way has been a trusted source of information, inspiration and opinion since its launch in 1896. Through print and digital news products, it links the diverse family of Baptists across the Midwest, particularly in Missouri and contiguous states.
The editorial teams of the three newspapers and ABPnews also collaborate to plan and design a bi-weekly feature package with feature articles, photos and commentary on current issues of interest to the Baptist family. Each package is posted on the ABPnews home page. As a service to the partnership, ABPnews provides its content sharing platform for reciprocal sharing of news, feature and opinion articles for the four websites and for the newspapers' print and digital editions.
