The early onset of the presidential campaign has brought with it a renewed call for a “return to civility.” There seems, however, little prospect for any immediate restoration of such civility, assuming that it ever existed. I think there are two reasons for this. First of all, we're not sure any longer what such civility would look like and secondly, there is a great deal at stake.

The online course materials and discussion forums are Internet-based and accessible anytime, from anywhere. Participants engage in thought-provoking Q&A and discussion with class members and the instructor via threaded discussion forums.

Retired pastor's gifts to BTSR total $250,000

With their recent major gift to the "Building Our Future ... Together" campaign, Henry and Florence Langford are celebrating a total of $250,000 that they have been able to share with Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond. Counting the Langfords' most recent gift of approximately $52,000 in coins and precious metals, the campaign for BTSR's future currently stands at $16 million toward an overall goal of $19 million.
