The Baptist General Association of Virginia is seeking suggestions for members to serve on its seven standing committees and for nominations to the governing boards of its 19 partner agencies and institutions.
The BGAV committee on boards and committees will present a slate of nominees to the BGAV annual meeting this November.
“The committee on boards and committees needs your help in identifying … Virginia Baptist leaders,” committee chair Norman Burnes wrote in a web post. “We are seeking nominations of both laypersons and clergy who are Christ followers; ethnically, racially and generationally diverse; passionate about advancing the Kingdom together; and able to handle the responsibilities as assigned.”
Suggestions may be made on a form available for download on the Virginia Baptist Mission Board’s website.
