Tom S. Brandon Sr., 86, died July 25 in Sherman, Texas. He served as pastor in several churches during more than 60 years in ministry. He was pastor of First Baptist Church, Sherman, Texas, from 1963 until his retirement in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Dolly Bandy Brandon; five children, Thomas S. Brandon Jr., Virginia Stringfellow, Susie Webb, Shari Blodgett and Don S. Brandon; 19 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Rodney Hobbs, 5 years as lead pastor of Stonegate Church, Midlothian, Texas.

Diane Lamb, 25 years as weekday school director at First Baptist Church, Griffin, Ga.

Melissa Scott, 15 years as associate pastor at Colonial Avenue Baptist Church, Roanoke, Va.
